According to reports in Portugal, Amido Balde’s former club Guimarães are looking into the possibility of re-signing the player on loan from Celtic.

However any deal for the striker would be dependant on Celtic paying a portion of his wages while at Guimarães as the club could not afford to pay 100% of his wages.

AMIDO PLAYING FOR VITORIA DE GUIMARAES

Amido Balde future at Celtic is very uncertain, Neil Lennon didn’t trust the player and he couldn’t even get a sniff at the weekend under new boss Ronny Deila even though he was fielding what was essentially a B team.

Celtic would like to cut their ties with Amido if he is to go but not many people will pay out any sort of money for a player who has hardly kicked a ball for over a year.

A loan deal in this instance may prove best for both clubs. Amido can get his confidence back with some game time and perhaps put himself in the shop window. He is well though of in Portugal by the Guimarães fans.

We are now in the last seven days of the transfer window, expect more things to happen in the next few days with regards to fringe players and new players coming in.
