Celtic Academy have linked up with community based football club Enfield Rovers in Australia.
Celtic will send their academy coaches throughout the year to Enfield to help them nurture their young talent and bring the best out in them.
International academy Manager, Willie McNab was delighted with the new link up:
“The addition of such a strong community based football club like Enfield Rovers into our Club Partnership Program is significant. It forms part of Celtic’s mission to assist in growing the game around the world. Enfield Rovers is a perfect fit for our program. This will be a long-term commitment by both parties.” said McNab.
The academy already enjoys links with community based sides in North America and Ireland, with Australia added to its growing portfolio it’s great to see Celtic committed to helping the players of tomorrow get the best possible chance.
