I don’t think the ink was wet when on Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic contract before people started asking how long he would stay. The truth is that nobody but the man himself can really answer that with any certainty albeit I think he will be here for many, many years.

We’ve all heard (especially) from the media how the Irishman wouldn’t be able to resist the lure of the EPL should a job become available… Really?! The

The EPL has its fair share of manager sackings every season and if you don’t think he has been approached already then you may be a bit naive.

Let’s look at the England manager’s job; When big Sam got the boot for his dodgy deals, Rodgers featured high on the list of possible replacements – his response?? I’ve just landed my dream job.

Personal success should be measured in terms of achievement, always. Not by the number on the bottom right hand corner of a pay-slip. I’d say the Celtic manager lives by a similar ethos. Anyone who saw him with the league cup outside Celtic Park couldn’t help but notice how emotional he became as he addressed the support, no doubt thinking about his “Celtic” upbringing and his late father in that moment.

Make no mistake about it, the gaffer could secure another stint in the EPL tomorrow if he wanted to. He could also head off to somewhere like China for whatever amount of money he wants. But the type of job satisfaction, adoration and sense of fulfillment he’s currently getting at Celtic cannot be matched by any of the aforementioned.

Feel free to disagree, but when he does eventually go he might just be eligible for a free bus pass.

The revolution has only just started and this one WILL be televised. To steal a catchphrase from those rascals across town, let’s enjoy the journey! A more fulfilling journey of course.
