Sources in Holland this evening say Celtic are about to tie up a deal for Ajax winger Derk Boerrigter.
The fee was believed to be €3million but this seems to be wide of the mark with a fee of around €2million being more probable.
His agent reports only a medical stands in the way of this move happening.
The 26 year old would fit the profile of the type of player Neil Lennon wants as he begins his second assault on the Champions League.
There has been a mixed response in Holland to this transfer with some Ajax fans saying their glad of his imminent move where as others seem to think Celtic are landing a good player.
