Celtic have signed West Ham defender Justin Osagie from West Ham.

BBC Reporter Fraser Fletcher revealed the deal and posted a picture of the 17-year-old holding up a Celtic jersey inside Celtic Park.

Osagie signed for the Hammers back in 2020 from Southend. He’s been developing under the Hammers youth system but has been identified by Celtic B scouts who have made the deal happen.

Celtic hasn’t officially confirmed the deal yet but the Hoops appear to have got their man and Justin will likely join up with the B team in the Scottish Lowland League.

The Hoops are determined to build their B team and bridge the gap between the youth system and the first team in the coming seasons.

Participation in the Scottish lowland league has given players an outlet to play competitive games and develop.

The B team got off to a winning start at the weekend, beating Cowdenbeath in match day one.

Hopefully Justin can make an impact.
