It would appear Celtic are still very keen on bring Robert Snodgrass to Glasgow.

The club made tentative enquiries in the last window for the 26 year old but were left with no choice but to look elsewhere when a £6m price tag was put on his head.

However, this summer his circumstances may change significantly. Norwich are currently fighting a relegation battle and their run-in includes games against Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal. A daunting task that may see the Canaries drop down to the Championship.

If they were to go down then the £6m price tag would no longer be realistic AND the player is entering the last 12 months of his contract. If Celtic couldn’t come to an agreement with Norwich then they could potentially sign him on a pre-contract in January.

While there may be other teams in for him this summer, Celtic could have a slight edge as Snodgrass is a massive Celtic fan, growing up not far from Celtic Park.

The midfielder would most likely have to take a pay cut if he were to join up with his Bhoyhood heroes.

The next 5 games for Norwich will have a massive say in where the midfielders future will lie.
