Peter Lawwell told shareholders at todays AGM that Celtic will hold talks with  on-loan striker John Guidetti’s representative’s as early as next week to try and work out a permanent deal for the goal scoring Swede.

The striker has been a revelation since joining up with Celtic at the end of August and has sparked this Celtic side into life with his goals as well as his personality.

There is going to be stiff competition for the players signature but Celtic are hoping they have an edge in talks with the player as he is currently loving his surroundings in Glasgow.

If Celtic were to trike a permanent deal for the striker, whether it be for a fee or a bosman it would be one of Celtic’s best moves in the transfer market in years.

Celtic have found a new hero and we don’t want to wave bye to him at the end of the season. We hold our breath and hope that the player sees his immediate future in Glasgow in the Green and White Hoops!

In other negotiations Peter Lawwell says the ball is now in Kris Common’s court if he wants to sign a new deal. His current deal runs out in the summer.
