Nadir Ciftci is closing in on a dream move to Celtic after reports this morning say Celtic have matched Dundee Utd’s asking price for the striker.
Celtic have been in hot pursuit of the frontman over the past week or two with several offers tabled for the former Turkish Under 19. They have been persistent and it looks like it has paid off.
Nadir has proved a handful for defences with Dundee Utd but only has a return of 23 goals in 64 overall appearances for the Arabs.He also comes into Celtic off the back of a biting episode where he looked to have bit Dundee’s Jim McAlistar.
Ronny Deila seems very high on the striker and believes he could help fire Celtic into the Champions league group stages.
With every signing Celtic make they always get the full backing of the support and if Nadir does finally make his way to Celtic Park than he can trust he has the same.
With qualifiers coming up he will have to hit the ground running.
