Celtic dominate the SPFL team of the season after taking the SPFL title in spectacular fashion in a season nobody gave them a chance.

The Hoops have FIVE players in the SPFL chosen side; Jota, Kyogo, McGregor, Rogic and Carter-Vickers have all been chosen for the team.

In reality, there could have been more. Liel Abada’s debut season exploits should’ve been enough to see him win a place off the top of our head.

Celtic were fantastic, especially in the second half of the season. Kyogo missed most of the second half but his ability and goals in the first half was enough to secure him a place.

Giakoumakis picked up the torch in the second part of the season and made sure Celtic became champions.

As I wrote above, Celtic weren’t expected to win this title. 25 points behind the season before, losing their top players who helped win them so many trebles and starting afresh with a new manager and team meant it was a transition season.

However, the club across the city could not handle a title challenge, something they didn’t get when we were playing training ground football.

When the going got tough, they lost their title. Celtic went top of the league in February after winning 3-0 against The Rangers and they never looked back.
