Beram Kayal has signed for Brighton subject to a work permit.

The midfielder who was in the last 6 months of his Celtic contract made no secret about wanting to leave Celtic and reboot his career elsewhere. He has now got his move and has signed a deal until 2017.

We understand Beram will join Brighton straight away so it’s assumed that Celtic have been given some sort of fee for the player to release him from his contract early.

The Israeli fell down the pecking order under former manager Neil Lennon and had failed to impress under new boss Ronny Deila.

While he never lived up to his early performances in the Hoops, he gave the Celtic fans a few good memories and we wish him all the best at Brighton.

Hail Hail Beram!
