CELTIC are about to welcome back Dedryk Boyata into the fold after a lengthy injury layoff.

The Belgian defender became a pivotal player in the Rodgers revolution during the second half of last season and proved quite the dominant aerial threat at a Celtic set piece.

With Celtic short on defenders, having to rely on Nir Bitton and a plethora of permutations in his absence, Celtic fans will welcome the news.

The galvanised centre-back who scored at Ibrox last time around is in line to take his place in defence this Saturday and could even see game time on Wednesday night against Dundee.

With Erik Sviatchenko back in light training, the Celtic defence is soon to be at full strength once again.

Happy Christmas hoops fans, bet up at half time gonna be so easy. Hail Hail

    • I think it will be 3-2 to Celtic.. if the horrible mob keep the midfield the same Celtic will swamp it and could be a cricket score but I think he will pay 3 centre mids to nullify us .. sit back and try and hit us on the break .it’s the only thing he can do because if he goes for broke Celtic will destroy them .. can’t wait whatever happens
