Celtic are looking to capture another youngster from a top Premiership side after it was revealed last night that Manchester Unitied Defender – Saidy Janko had been shown around Lennoxtown by the club.

The 19-year-old who as signed for United under David Moyes is looking for first team football and Ronny Deila seems keen on bringing the young lad in from Old Trafford. We understand that nothing is set in stone but Celtic would rather a permanent deal for the right back if the price is right.

If Saidy does come in it could spell the end for at least one of the right backs currently at Celtic. Lustig, Matthews and Fisher all play this position with the first two being rather susceptible to injury it has made this position a high priority for the Celtic Boss. Saidy spent the latter part of last season on-loan at Bolton where former Celtic manager Neil Lennon now manages and impressed at his time at the Reebok.

Celtic have only signed one player so far this transfer window and that was Dedryk Boyata from Manchester United’s rivals Manchester City. This deal could move very quickly after the players tour of Lennoxtown yesterday.
