Teemu Pukki finalised his loan move to Brondby on Monday night after an unsuccessful year at Celtic Park

Celtic fans were patient with the Finnish striker whilst he was at the club, hoping the player would come good but he could never seem to hit his stride.

He is now looking forward to a new challenge in a more “competitive league”.

“The competition is extremely fierce in this league, unlike in Scotland where there is only one good team, Celtic.” said the striker.

Many will agree with that analysis of Scottish football at the moment but some may point out the fact that Pukki failed to cut it in this environment.

However he has told Brondby fans  that he’s ready to find the net in a more competitive league.

As a striker, I love to score goals, and I hope I can help the team by scoring some goals here.”

We wish him all the best.
