Celtic will be without Craig Gordon and Nadir Ciftci for the Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at Stranraer tomorrow. Both of them are suspended from bookings in last season’s competitions.

This leaves the door open for backup GK Logan Bailey to show the Celtic support what he can do. Leigh Griffiths will likely to make his first start in five weeks following a recent calf problem unless Deila opts to throw Carlton Cole into the mix.

It’s been 10 years since Celtic travelled to lower league Clyde in this round of the competition and were sent packing by the minnows. A Roy Keane debut overshadowed by a terrible result in a game which seen the start and end of a certain Du Wei’s Celtic career also.

The team should not take the game lightly and be professional to get the job done as early as possible. Celtic’s performances have not been up to standard and it’s about time some of the players step up.
