CELTIC are closing in on another loan signing today after holding positive talks with Ruban Kuzan over 24 year old winger Wakaso Mubarak.

The Ghanian international who moved to Ruban Kuzan from Espanyol for  €8 million in 2013 has found it difficult to break into the Russian outfits setup and he now has his eyes on a move to Glasgow.

It’s a race against time to get the player in and be able to get registered as a wildcard pick for the Champions League play off but due to work permit complications this might not be done in time.

If he does sign on the dotted line he will become Celtic’s fourth loan signing of the summer alongside Tonev, Berget and Denayer. After being burned on permanent deals for flops in the past Celtic seem keen on the try before you buy option. We understand there would be an option to buy Wakaso after his loan period has ended.
