While you typically associate the 12th of July with hate, supremacy and bigotry.

Celtic fans now fall to their knees to hail the great skelper, Moussa Dembele on this, the day of his birth.

Big Moussa started his Celtic career properly with a surprise Glasgow Derby start last September after Leigh Griffiths was announced injured hours before kick off. Honestly, I remember panic kicking in, Griffiths had coasted to over 40 goals in the season before and we had no idea what we really had in Moussa yet.

Nobody knew then that Dembele was going to annihilate a team that was supposed to be Celtic’s closest rivals. He emerged after 90 minutes with all kind of accolades and price tags. But maybe he just got lucky? No. He was only getting started. In total, he racked up 32 goals last season, and he missed a large chunk of the end of the season due to injury.

The player is being linked with a lot of wealthy teams at the minute but we think he has a couple more skelpings still left in him.

Happy Birthday, Moussa.
