We have had a whole week to think about the game on Sunday and debate the merits of who should start the tie.

There’s no doubt the majority of supporters are hoping James Forrest is fit and ready to go at Ibrox. If he is, there’s a danger John Kennedy tries to shoehorn a Ryan Christie into the side at the expense of the natural balance of the team.

We can’t always play all our best players at once. Christie has his critics but there’s no doubt he can add something to a Celtic starting lineup. In this scenario, I can’t find an argument for him starting if James is fit.

Ryan hasn’t really done it in the Glasgow Derby to this point.

If I got to pick the team and all things being the same, I’d start the exact side who went up against Livingston.

John Kennedy could see merit in bringing in certain players to counteract specific threats but I think we’re stronger if we concentrate on our own game.

We put the Christie question to our social media followers on Twitter and there seemed to be a consensus Ryan should start on the bench but there were a few who were even more critical.
