EBOUE KOUASSI wants to make a big impression on the manager and team this year as he looks to make the breakthrough.

So far, the midfielder has had to settle for bit-part appearances in the double treble show.

He has shown there’s certainly something there but has been told by Scott Brown and the manger that he needs to keep working hard.

The 20-year-old was delighted to see game time in Armenia during the week and he hopes he can kick on from there and push for a starting place.

Kouassi said: “I hope this is the start for me. I want to have more responsibility in the team. We shall have to wait and see.” He told the Daily Record.

“Playing in such a big game does give me confidence.

“Every time I play I am very happy and want to prove myself. I have to wait for my chance to get into the team.”
