BT Presenter Darrell Currie has branded the rumours linking Celtic midfielder James Forrest with Liverpool as ‘remarkable’ but was quick to shoot down any suggestion Forrest would want to leave.
Darrell quite clearly states James Forrest is happy at Celtic and doesn’t want to leave, but he also makes it clear the £8million reports are suggestion are wide of the mark if Liverpool wants Forrest.
‘Start at £20million’ the presenter declared as he tried to get his head around what is possibly the most bizarre link of the transfer window so far.
Remarkable this ?. 1st of all – he wants to stay at Celtic… 2nd – if someone was bidding they should probably start at £20M! https://t.co/iT7CTEA8MK

Forrest has been on deadly form for club and country, coming up with some big goals and generally upping his game to a new level.
There’s always going to be suitors for a player having that good of a season, but Liverpool who are currently chasing their first League Title win already have some top talent in Forrest’s position.
Darrell is spot on when he says, £8million would not be enough to take Forrest away from Parkhead. It would have to be an astonishing offer for Celtic and the winger to part.
