SCOTT ALLAN has told the Hibs fans he wants to stay at Easter Road beyond his loan spell which finishes next month.

The midfielder has enjoyed the second half of this season with Neil Lennon’s side after a deadline day switch from his last loan deal at Dundee.

With the player not in Brendan Rodgers plans going forward it’s likely that Celtic will move Scott on this summer and if Neil Lennon wants to keep the player, Allan has urged the two sides to get together.

“I’m keen to stay. If everything else goes well it will basically come down to how the Hibs and Celtic hierarchies deal with it, it’s not up to me.

“But I love it here. The club’s style really suits my game.

“They let creative players create and play without too much restriction on your game. You can see that in all of us now.”

Allan never really got a run of games at Celtic and was quickly told he was surplus to requirements when Brendan Rodgers came in.

He’s a talented bhoy and could be a great permanent signing for Hibs if the clubs can come to an agreement.
