NEIL Lennon has bemoaned his side’s finishing in the final third after the Bhoys drew another SPFL blank.

Two 0-0 games in a row now has put the champagne on ice for the Bhoys who are fumbling towards eight in a row.

Celtic looked jaded, ponderous and ineffectual for large periods of the game as Neil Lennon tried to break down a side he put together.

After the match, Neil cut a frustrated figure and harkened back to last season when Celtic blew the chance to win the league at Easter Road when it was himself who inflicted the defeat on the Bhoys at the time.

Speaking after the game to Celtic’s YouTube channel – The Irishman thought the Bhoys should have been more clinical and believed his Bhoys didn’t start very well either.

Celtic now have to wait even longer to confirm the title. Kilmarnock visit Celtic Park next week and if the Bhoys won they’re virtually over the line. The club could still win the league next weekend but the Ibrox club would have to lose points on the Sunday after a Celtic win on the Saturday for this to be possible. The Killie game is more important now, it’s the second last home game of the season with the Bhoys hitting Pittodrie and Ibrox in that order after the home game.
