The former Celtic, Hibs and Aberdeen player’s signing was announced just fifteen minutes before he was announced in the side’s starting lineup in the Papa John’s Trophy tie against Cheltenham Town.

It was his first club game since he left Aberdeen in the summer, but it ended in heartbreak for Dylan, after a 1-1 draw lead to the side defeated on penalties. His debut lasted an hour, before he was subbed off with the game at 1-0 to his side.

He’ll go head to head with former Aberdeen teammate and Celtic legend Scott Brown, with Fleetwood Town also in the same division. However, that won’t take place until April, with the teams already having met this season.

McGeough will look for hsi second start in his side’s FA cup match at the weekend, with Alvechurch of the Southern Premier League the oponents.
