The provisional squad for Celtic’s match against Dundee United has been released with one noticeable absentee.

Stephen Welsh is not listed in the squad reported by the Daily Record. Young defender Dane Murray is listed which means he is likely to miss Celtic B’s fixture against league leaders Bonnyrigg Rose.

Also listed is Adam Montgomery who is said to be close to a loan deal to Championship side Kilmarnock. Also included are Osaze Urhoghide, Boli Bolingoli, Mikey Johnston, and Vasilis Barkas, who are all linked to Celtic exits this window.

Still missing are Callum Mcgregor and Kyogo Furuhashi, this was expected.

The full list is as follows;

  • Vasilis Barkas
  • Christopher Jullien
  • Greg Taylor
  • Carl Starfelt
  • Liam Scales
  • Nir Bitton

Celtic will look to finish the day with all three points and no additional injuries, with a Glasgow Derby a matter of days away. The league leaders are travelling to Dingwall, maximum points are expected of them too. The Hoops then would have the opportunity to close the gap on Wednesday to just one point.

Every game is a must-win as Celtic looks to regain their title by May.
