Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken out after the dreadful abuse that summer signing Kyogo Furuhashi faced in the last 24 hours.

In an interview with Celtic TV, Postecoglou spoke in glowing terms of the sort of character that Kyogo Furuhashi is and has been since joining the club, whilst also hitting out at the horrible racist abuse he faced last weekend.

It is very early days in the tenure of Postecoglou as Celtic manager, but one thing I will say and the majority of Celtic fans will agree with is, we are proud to have a manager like him.

In how he conducts himself and goes about his business, fans feel proud to have Ange as our manager.

With this interview, he once again shows his touch of class in the way he supports Kyogo and stands up for this sort of abuse he faced that no one should ever have to go through.

He really continues to hit the nail on the head with this interview when describing why we love football.
