CELTIC are a club like no other, and in 2018 they have shown that again with their Christmas charity drive.

The Celtic Foundation has raised a record sum this festive season with many events and fundraisers to help a lot of good causes.

The club’s charitable roots are engrained in our identity, and during the Christmas period, the Celtic family goes above and beyond to help their fellow man.

The club were happy to announce the final figure for this year’s Festive Drive, and it was a whopping £240k.

Monies have already been distributed with the Celtic FC website posting the list below.

– Glasgow/West of Scotland/Dublin/Belfast and Lisburn families with children (£94k)
– Local OAPs (£5k)
– Children (£62k)
– Women’s Aid charities (£11k)
– Homeless, refugees, other vulnerable groups (£68k)

The Celtic sleepout has become a major success for the Foundation over the past few years. Participants raise money and spend a night sleeping over at Celtic Park in the cold winter. It’s a unique opportunity for fans to take in Paradise in a whole new light. This year the sleepout alone raised £30k for the charity.

Outstanding effort!
