No league trophies will be handed out in the next two weeks in the SPFL but with so many games in such a short space of time, it could a table altering fortnight.

Celtic are about to play five league games in 14 days. Their opponents are Hibs (H), Hearts (A), Aberdeen (H), St. Mirren (A) and the year will be finished off with a Glasgow derby at Paradise before the winter break kicks in.

That’s fifteen points to play for in two weeks. Luckily, Neil Lennon was able to give some of his main stars a break during the week while he travelled to Romania to face Cluj. Hopefully, tomorrow against Hibs fans will see a rejuvenated set of first-team stars as they were not at the races in the League Cup final but still managed another trophy.

With both Glasgow teams qualified for the last 32 of the Europa League all the focus now switches to the league table. The Bhoys currently have a slender two-point gap in the league table and a host of players returning from injury.

Neil Lennon will be grateful for the return of Edouard, Bayo, Griffiths, Bolingoli & Jonny Hayes for these hectic upcoming fixtures.
