A Celtic spokesperson has not minced their words on Friday afternoon as they brand the SFA’s decision to let Jon Flanagan’s elbow go unpunished after his ban was thrown out.

Scott Brown was blatantly elbowed in the face by the Ibrox defender who took a look over his shoulder before landing the blow. The referee inexplicably only handed Flanagan a yellow at the time but the SFA cited the defender for the shocking elbow.

The two-match van handed down by the SFA was thrown out today after the hearing prompting this reaction from Celtic.

Flanagan becomes the second player at Ibrox to get away with violent conduct against Celtic players with Alfredo Morelos not punished for his three separate incidents the December game.

When the footage is there and yet again another Gers player has refused to behave then action should be taken without fear or favour. The SFA again show they’re not fit for purpose.

  1. However, if Broony had committed these assaults, he’d be done over like a criminal. Flannigan has a history of hitting people. Word of warning then for his lady friends, don’t take your eye off Flannigan the wee sh1te, he’s known for cowardly actions.

  2. Why would you describe it as a huge embarrassment, we are known as the humble bums , we are the takers but never the givers, we have men on our board that also swingthe lead, they are called the tip toe men we should just get on with the game and stop our usual winging. And. complaining ,as that is embarrassing our support we have a group that is calling it out yet it is calling us all out yet they must be embarrrising us no one is giving them any support

  3. When are we going to say enough is enough
