Chris Sutton has congratulated the Ibrox club on their first ever win at Celtic Park on Sunday but went fishing when it came to Gers manager Steven Gerrard.

The Scouser lost the plot at the end of the game and you could see amount of pressure he feels under to celebrate the win like he did. Sutton thought it was over the top and he should maybe save those celebrations if they win the league.

Celtic lost 2-1 at home after a disappointing afternoon and there can be no complaints about the result in the end up.

The Bhoys had more of the game than they did in the cup final but this time didn’t have the rub of the green.

A three week break for the Celtic players to stew on the defeat should hopefully see a few bhoys come back very hungry.

It’s all to play for and unlike Gerrard’s celebration, nothing has been won yet. Well apart from the League Cup…

  1. If the pen had went in then game changer it would have been, but its a wake up call clear out the dead wood this window and bring in new faces,we looked unfit with a full gut of Xmass dinner and plenty of drink and sore heads all over the pitch, and Ajer was not at the game he defended like a school boy he should have attacked the ball hit by kent not turn other way and watch it hit the net, second goal Ajer again never ever attacked the ball what is he all about get him sold first good offer get him out of here..

  2. Feared the worst when i saw Bolingoli in starting line up-he’s been poor & no longer has confidence to run forward with ball & take players on-any decent moves forward were coming from Frimpong on the right.
Jamesie virtually anonymous again-Sevco are obviously improving & we cant get away with carrying passengers like we could in the past- we were at home & had chance to blow them away but didnt heed the Cup Final warning
