SCOTT BROWN didn’t travel with the squad tonight after the manager overruled the player who was ready to make the trip to the Highlands.
Scott’s partner was expecting their third child and went into labour earlier today. We have now heard she has given birth to a baby bhoy.
Speaking about his captain, the manager made clear what comes first and we couldn’t agree more.
“I gave a rest to Scott Brown tonight because he became a father again for the third time.” said Rodgers.
“Three boys he’s got now. He wanted to come but I said listen, look after your wife. Family is more important than football.”
The bhoys managed a 4-0 win in the highlands against Ross County tonight in our captain’s absence and I’m sure the whole team will be delighted for him.
