LIEL ABADA has praised the Celtic support as he prepares for next season with Celtic in the Champions League.

The winger has been on fire since he arrived at Celtic. From early in his Parkhead career, fans knew that he would be a special player. With the season over, Abada finished with the second most goal contributions in the team. Considering he wasn’t a regular after January, that’s a great achievement.

He won the young player of the year award, but he could have easily won player of the year with the amount he has contributed this season.

Speaking to one, Abada praised the fans and players as he looks forward to next season at Celtic despite interest elsewhere:

“I’m only dealing with Celtic right now. I’m good here. I love the players, the crowd & the team.
“I get a sense of home & all my focus is here.”

The 20-year-old will look to continue his good run of form into next season to force his way into Ange Postecoglou’s team.

It’s easy to forget just how young the player is. There is still a lot of room for development.
