Chris Sutton is not one for pussyfooting around words or issues and his sentiments tonight will be backed by anyone with half a brain. Sutton was responding to a video of Lazio fans marching through Glasgow as they threw Nazi salutes at passersby.

The Lazio fans reputation proceded them and they didn’t take long to disappoint. While the chances of them getting stopped from entering Paradise are zero it would send out the kind of message that is needed to deal with this kind of idiotic behaviour. Police escorted them to the stadium but no officer deemed a nazi salute as something that would warrant their attention.
When you think that Artur Boruc was once cautioned for blessing himself by the police maybe we shouldn’t expect too much from them.
With the game just over an hour away you can only hope that these so-called fans don’t bring their vile behaviour to Paradise but don’t hold your breath. Celtic Park is sold out tonight so all the noise will be coming from the Bhoys and if the players can deliver on the park there will be no need to be giving Lazio fans any attention.
