CELTIC won against Jablonec in the Czech Republic on Thursday evening. That was no small part down to Liel Abada and his attacking prowess throughout the game.

The 19-year-old was involved in three out of the four goals Celtic scored on the night.

He opened the scoring with another reactive shot from inside the area. He then set up Kyogo Furuhashi for the second of the evening. Abada’s shot in the second half would see the keeper save it but palm it right into the path of James Forrest who scored the third.

The Israeli was eventually subbed in the second half – leaving the pitch having made another great impression.

Celtic fans were gushing in their praise of the winger who could quickly usurp James Forrest on the right if he continues this sort of form.

We do have to remember he is 19 and while he looks a fantastic prospect there will be dips and ebbs to his form throughout the season.

There’s great signed we have a player here.
