Lee O’Connor was brought to Celtic with a great reputation and glowing reports from Manchester Utd fans.
However, since the defender/midfielder moved to Celtic, he’s had zero starts and more than a few loan deals.
Going back out on loan this season with Tranmere, the Irish international is excelling and has become a fan favourite for the English side .
The social media team at Tranmere posted an appreciation tweet to the Celtic loanee on Sunday after another top performance.
Lee has not been able to prove himself at Celtic but has a big reputation in the Irish set up.
Surely Ange and his coaching staff should be taking a serious look at Lee and his performances on loan.
The player will be due back at Lennoxtown in the summer – here’s hoping Lee can show the Celtic manager he’s worth keeping around.
There’s a few Irish youngsters who were brought in like Luca Connell and Jonathan Afalobi have also found it difficult to make any sort of impact.
If he has done so well and impressed at Tranmere then they would have every right to try and sign him just we do with every loan player who shows up well for us .
