Negotiations between Celtic and Norwich City for striker Adam Idah have reached an advanced stage, focusing on a transfer fee likely to exceed £6 million, reports Sky Sports News’ Anthony Joseph.

The clubs are also negotiating add-ons.

Recent reports revealed that Celtic had submitted a second bid, weeks after their first bid was rejected.

The negotiations follow a successful loan spell where Idah impressed at Celtic by scoring nine goals in 19 games for the Scottish giants, including a pivotal goal in the Scottish Cup final that secured the trophy for Celtic. His performances, notably scoring twice in Glasgow derbies, have made him a fan favourite, with supporters desperate to get him back in the Hoops for the new season.

With personal terms not expected to be an obstacle—given Idah’s keen interest in returning to Celtic—the deal seems poised for completion.

He looks set to return to Glasgow in the coming days.

  1. Celtic got Norwich back up with there valuations of idah but he was miles from first team pick till Celtic and Rodgers gave him the confidence and feeling of been part of a team there new manager might have thought he was his main striker on video evidence on in hoops shirt coming of the bench he will be hoping for a good transfer budget and more money they can squeeze out of Celtic board who should have came back with a counter offer of £6,000,000which is a great offer for a sub but Rodgers turned him into that price tag idah has not went about it by almost going on strike we have had players doing it to us the three amigos and more but we have should pay the 6million and move on progress idah made under Rodgers he will be worth more than dbl but fans don’t look at £ it’s on the pitch we are just giving scottish media armournishing to cause trouble between board and fans what’s going on at Govan and not a peep rangers still have the press in there pockets no holiday midweeks at Murrays holiday home but they still can’t write the truth about them I’d say Norwich and Celtic set the 4million if Celtic wanted to buy after loan period and with Rodgers comments at end of scottish cup final upped it so learn get it on writing handshake are only as good as person giving it I’m sure Rodgers knew he slipped up £2,000,000 SLIP UP
