ADIDAS continue to make their mark on Celtic Park and when we do get back into the stadium we’ll be seeing the stadium transformed to it’s earlier days of the new structure.

The Sports brand is adding another stripe to Celtic’s bottom tier to make the iconic three stripes park of Celtic Park – but not for the first time.

When the new Celtic Park opened, there were three stripes at the bottom which went round both the Jock Stein and Lisbon Lion stand, converging on the north stand. We have to imagine it was Nike who wanted one of the stripes gone when Celtic entered into a lucrative kit deal with the sporting giants.

So if you’re in the bottom tier, when you get back into Celtic Park, your colour of chair may have changed.

Adidas have released three brand new kits over the past two months and the supporters have been flocking to get them. All three have been a hit, and it bodes well for future collaborations.

  1. Mmmmmm. Change can be good. But then also the opposite. Had a seat in 445Cc Lisbon Lions Upper/Upper (Singing section and Irish Fenien Hurling shirt wearing row) Had a Named sticker on that. After years getting rained on and snowed on and hit in the body with plastic wrappers and such, in the vortex. We moved to the auld singing section of 415 (Yes Celtic allowed it there for about four years, before they decided to move them again) One row away from the Jungle wall at the front of the corner flag . I had a named sticker their also (under the seat like the last one) It remained there until, Celtic sent the sectarian hun nephew of mine (can’t pick your relations) ? ? And under order from Celtic, he removed it. The other one in 445 is probably still there. If it hasn’t been blasted by the vortex.
