‘Administration has been discussed’ – BBC Journo Makes Top Flight Club Claim

BBC Journalist Chris McLaughlin has claimed he has spoken to one top flight Scottish club who have discussed the possibility of administration.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, the journo was pointing out how crucial a point we were at when it comes to football in this country.

He did not divulge the infortmation about what club had told him this.

“Don’t underestimate just how critical a point we’re at here.

“I had a converasation with someone about half an hour ago, a senior member of a senior club in Scotland, who told me that administration has been discussed.

“Now, that doesn’t mean that this club in particular who I’m not going to name is ready to go into administration but it’s been discussed.”

Befor anyone gets excited, McLaughlin is not in Statement FC’s good books, so it would be wildly out of character for them to speak off the record with him.

No club is immune to the financial hardship facing our game and the reality of keeping clubs open in the interim will become very difficult.
