AIK star Tarik Elyounoussi has fired shots at Celtic ahead of the first leg of their Europa League tie on Thursday at Celtic Park.

The attacking midfielder has warned Celtic that his team will NOT be intimidated by the large stadium and they know all about CDeltic’s poor record in Europe as of late.

As well as trashing Celtic’s euro record he also had a go at the SPFL for not being very good.

“Of course Celtic have a lot of experience in Europe, but they have not been so good in recent years.” told the Herald.

“We will not be dazzled by Celtic.

“When you hear the name Celtic, you think they are a big team.

“But they lost four goals at home to Cluj and the Scottish league is not so good.

“We won’t be intimidated either by playing in their large stadium. We are all looking forward to facing them.”

Celtic dropped into the competition after their shock defeat to Romanian champions Cluj. AIK pose a dangerous threat but if the players pay attention to the media they may take exception to Elyounoussi comments.

The Swedish side have had their own problems this season and were booed off at the weekend after being beat 2-1 at home. AIK blew the chance to go top of the Swedish league.

Celtic have their own problems and a defeat on Thursday would be unthinkable for the club after the last ten days.
