We let you know earlier today, Norway’s fixtures for this international break have been cancelled and now the two Celtic players involved will be heading back to Glasgow.

Their return to Scotland will be tonight after pictures emerged of the players in the airport ahead of their flight courtesy of vg.no.

We’re awaiting confirmation one way or another if both players will have to self isolate when they come back to Glasgow due to one of their international teammates contracting the virus.

If they were, they would not be able to train with Celtic until after the Hibernian game next weekend and would therefore be out. However, the international laws are unclear and we just don’t know how the Scottish Government will tell us how to play it.

Ryan Christie had to self isolate because he was around a positive case with Scotland last month but that was in Scotland and due to the track and trace facility. Nothing like this will stop Ajer or Moi from playing but the Government are likely to take a view.

  1. C’mon Neil and John, what if they were injured with Norway. Time to shuffle the pod, give all the squad a run out.

    Worse things can happen.
