Mystery over Kristoffer Ajer’s injury deepens today as the Celtic defender was named in Norway’s international squad for November.
Ajer went off during Celtic’s Europa League draw with Lille on Thursday night and was nowhere near the squad for the semi-final of the Scottish Cup at the weekend.
Neil Lennon told the media on Saturday, Ajer was still awaiting a scan for a groin problem to see the extent of what was going on.
Today, Celtic even acknowledged on their social media, Ajer had been called up.
Is this a sign the defender will be back in action by this Thursday against Prague or are Norway hedging their bets and hoping the big man will be fit come international time?

Moi goes into the squad too, he’s scored three goals in two games for Celtic and appears to be getting back to some great form in the hoops.
Celtic are wary of internationals after it depleted their squad in October. There have been rumours the club are going to charter flights for anyone called up for international duty to avoid busy flights.
