Albian Ajeti has put his own personal disappointing season behind him and has gone off like the rest of the bhoys to enjoy the summer.

The Celtic striker played a role in the very early stages of Ange Postecoglou’s tenure when injuries to Kyogo and Giakoumakis meant the Australian had no choice but to play the striker.

When Kyogo was fit, Albian came straight back out the side and when the Japanese star suffered his own injury, Giakoumakis thankfully came back and took over in front of goal.

Albian’s move to Celrtic hasn’t worked out and while he’s sunning himself up on holiday we hope the club and his representatives are trying to manoeuver a deal that will take the Swiss frontman away from Parkhead this summer.

Celtic are heading into season two with Ange where the tempo is only going to be upped further in a bid to retain their title and make in-roads in European competition. There’s simply no space for Ajeti in the squad and the sooner we get him off the wage bill the better.
