ALBIAN AJETI has reacted to his performance at Rugby Park on Tuesday evening. The striker had a great second half in particular and managed to win a penalty as well as get on the score sheet for his team.

Since his five goals in six starts at the beginning of his Celtic career, Albian has had cameo appearances and sat on the bench most of the time.

He looked a bit rusty in the first half but he shook that off in the second and showed Celtic fans he’s not the dud that many think he is.

It appears to be, if Ajeti starts, he’s likely to score.

The Swiss striker came in for Leigh Griffiths and made his chance count, playing alongside Odsonne Edouard. He took his goal very well, using his body to stave off the defender and then such a cool and clinical finish to make it four on the night.

Speaking to the live Sky Sports cameras, Ajeti claimed he’s struggled with fitness this season.

“It was good to get a goal, I’ve been struggling for a couple of months with some fitness problems.”

Will he now get a run in the side?
