CELTIC are closing in on the SPFL title and eight in a row slowly but surely. It may have only been a draw against Aberdeen but Celtic maintained their eight point lead at the top over the weekend.
It’s already been a year since Celtic all but wrapped up the league title with a heroic 3-2 win at Ibrox where the home side twice took the lead for the Champions to come roaring back!
On this day last year, ‘What’s the goalie daein’ was born, and the crowning of French Eddie as the striker came on to nonchalantly drift passed Gers defenders and float a fantastic strike into the top corner.

This would be the last straw for the Ibrox board and fans who could no longer take 7,000 Celtic fans having a party over and over again in their home ground. Shortly after, the Ibrox board would cut Celtics allocation to the minimum in a petty move.
