Celtic had two very different teams for each half today but one bhoy caught the eye of many Hoops fans after just 45 minutes.

Young Karamoko Dembele got a start for the side and played the full first half, playing very well and getting on the scoresheet.

The midfielder was utilised as an attacking midfielder, rather than a winger and it paid off when he gave Celtic the lead within the first 25 minutes. He was a handful for Charlton and he continued to make his mark throughout the first half.

These fans were gushing over the player’s performance.

Dembele could have a standout season for the Hoops if he can prove to the manager he’s worth keeping around in the first team squad.

There’s no doubt the lad has talent, it’s all about using him effectively and making sure he can develop and kick on.

It’s going to be really interesting to see Ange Postecoglou’s first competitive starting XI and who he has his eyes on to take this club forward.
