We’re all going through tough times at the minute. The most vulnerable in our society are suffering more than most.
As a club, we were founded to feed the poorest in our society back in 1888. Celtic is a different beast altogether these days but we’ve never been too far away from our charitable roots. The Celtic Foundation continues Brother Walfrid’s club ethos and the supporters rally behind the foundation.
At a time of a cost of living crisis where some people who are in full time work can’t even afford to pay the bills, heat their homes and feed their family – it’s up to all of us to rally around and do anything we can.
That‘s why were delighted to see a new fan initiative coming into existence this season that will help ALL year round.
Celtic’s Supporting Foodbanks got in touch with us a few months back to let us know they were pushing ahead with a food bank initiative that would be available at EVERY Home Celtic game this season.
We’re delighted to say they’ve got things in place and will begin the initiative before the Blackburn game later this month.
The group will take a step back during the foundations food bank drive and the Green Brigade’s Annual charity event on the lead up to Christmas.

Rallying around and getting the poor to feed the poorer is all well and good. But this will continue indefinitely until the people rise up and take what is rightfully theirs.
The people of Sri Lanka had the correct idea. It’s only a pity that the president was tipped off. I would have tossed him into his lavish swimming pool with an anchor tied to his ankles.
Until a mass insurrection occurs the poor will continue to feed the poorer.
Do you honestly believe that the ‘War in the Ukraine’ was some sort of sporadic event that occurred overnight.
This was all planned long in advance, with the USA pulling the strings of the puppet Zelensky. Russia never started this war. The USA did in order to ramp up the price of everything. If you think it is bad now, wait until the wintertime when you are freezing your nuts off. Sanctions are not harming Russia, they are harming you and me and people like us in the West.
That was the plan all along.
