A Celtic fan has paid an outstanding tribute to Celtic late great European Cup winning captain Billy McNeill by organising a worldwide tribute to the man on the 52nd anniversary of Lisbon.

Celtic head to Hampden today in search of a treble treble and as fans head to the ground they will likely Cesar stickers as they approach the stadium.

However, this tribute is not restricted to Hampden or Glasgow. A monumental effort by @Hoidy on twitter has seen Cesar stickers stuck all over the globe in tribute of Celtic’s greatest ever captain.

Ireland, Spain, Germany, Holland, Australia, Japan, Finland and Norway just to name a few have the famous picture of Billy lifting that famous trophy above his head.

A monumental effort!

You can check out the twitter thread below for all the images and destinations.

Hoidy is also raising funds for Alzheimer Scotland by selling a pin badge of the famous moment which you can pick up here.

Teesfortims.com is also raising funds for the same cause with their Cesar Charity shirt which can be purchased here.
