Amazon Prime have jumped on the TalkSport bandwagon by promoting a shock jock comment from on of the TalkSport presenters Jamie O’Hara.

When there’s a slow news day, TalkSport know they can get a reaction by demanding what Celtic could in England in some sort of weird fantasy booking.

O’Hara’s biggest statement was Fulham would win the Scottish league, citing a team that’s struggling in the EPL would walk the Scottish game.

Amazon decided to pile on when they realised they could generate attention by regurgitating the comments to their followers online.

The best response we saw to this comments was from CP Hammil who wrote:

“A team, backed by a billionaire owner, that got £170m for being promoted – who will also likely receive a further £100m in parachute payments simply for being RELEGATED – probably would be in good position to compete with teams scrapping it out for £3m, yes ?

“Insightful stuff”

It’s a tiresome debate Celtic fans are bored of having. Given what we’ve done as a club on a shoestring budget, only propped up by our massive fan base is incredible. The money involved south of the border over inflated their sense of self.

What’s the point in having this debate with the EPL not opened to Celtic in the slightest. But hey, if Fulham want to come up and work under our TV and Competition money, be our guest.

  1. Teams in the English Championship are falling over each other to get into the big pond of the Epl. Celtic will surely never get a sniff of the kind of money in either league. So they can just rip the pish out of their support who sometimes given even smaller access to funds, have to split a Season card two, or even three ways. The bosses at Celtic (and sevco) should be ashamed in asking for anyone to partially fund their wives and children’s lifestyles, by asking hard up people for the full amount (In instalments or not) When could have simply asked for a tenner to retain you season card and seat (in suspension) and gave that cash to the under any grade, to keep them afloat. So kettle calling the pot a negro.
