It is fair to say most Celtic fans are still on the fence when it comes to their newest left-back Boli Bolingoli.

Ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton showed in commentary tonight that he is was not on the fence when it came to the defender’s performance for the Hoops this evening.

“I can’t remember him doing anything positive for Celtic, he is having an absolute nightmare”

It might have been their first time playing together but Boli and Morgan looked all out of sorts tonight, it will take time for the new signing to link up with any winger but it was evident tonight that Cluj was targeting Celtic’s flank and that is where their goal came from.

Celtic managed to see the game out with a 1-1 draw which should favour the Hoops for next Tuesday in Paradise. With news that Kieran Tierney is in London discussing terms with Arsenal Celtic fans will be worrying over the left-back position for the season ahead.

  1. I honestly think that Sutton can be a tit at times although he doesn’t sit on the fence. Give Boli a chance ffs! I don’t think he was that bad and shows a willingness to attack and could be a great signing.

    • Spot on. His awareness is too bad to be his natural position. I think he’d be a good replacement for Sinclair. But he need to remember to pass to his own players!!

  2. Boli Bolingoli.is a left sided attacking midfielder we need a LB as soon as and a CH a holding midfielder and a CF bring them in for the Slavia Prague game and get this show on the road and yes lets get into the CL groups.
