Liverpool star and Celtic fan Andy Robertson has told Match of the Day there’s one Celtic selfie which alludes him and for many supporters, it’s the ultimate selfie!
The Champions League winner plays alongside a former top Celt in Virgil van Dijk and has plenty of pictures with the Dutchman but if Andy was to choose one Celt to get a picture with it would be Henrik Larsson.
“I supported Celtic, and I’ve never met Henrik Larsson.” Robertson explained.
“So if I met him I think I’d need to say ‘look, come on and let’s get a picture.
“I’d photoshop his dreadlocks back on.”
Henrik Larsson is a legend at Celtic Park, even to this day. Younger supporters who didn’t see the man himself in action have seen the clips and heard the stories.
Robertson was in the Celtic youth system once upon a time but it was well after Henrik’s stint at the club. I think, given his current status in football there’s a good chance there paths will cross one day and he’ll get his selfie with the king. Maybe Henrik can grow out his hair and get dreadlocks for Andy!
