MOHANAD JEAZE has been linked to Celtic over the last couple of weeks. The left-back has been tipped to make a move to Glasgow for a deal worth up to £2 million.

The left-back position is an area that needs improvement, despite Greg Taylor’s starring performances in recent months.

The player has shied away from commenting on any rumoured clubs that are in for him, saying he isn’t interested in any potential clubs and will only find out about his future when negotiations have advanced. [Fotbol Transfers]

“I don’t want to say anything about it. I’m in Hammarby & have a contract here next year as well.”

“I don’t want to hear anything about interest. It’s when agreements are to be written that I want to know & we aren’t there yet.”

Interestingly, he doesn’t rule out that clubs are interested in acquiring his services in the summer.

However, Ange has denied having interest or making formal contact with the player, telling CeltsAreHere;

“In terms of being linked, I don’t know the one you’re talking about [Jeahze].”

“We haven’t had any discussions about bringing a player in right now, so anyone who is being touted in the media is being touted for their own purposes, not because of anything I’ve done.”

Postecoglou is looking to make additions to his squad in the summer but has warned fans that there won’t be as much activity this summer as when he first arrived at the club.

The manager believes that the club has been proactive and brought players to the club in January and will now look to add the finishing touches and add to the team’s depth.
