Celtic dropped two points on Saturday afternoon against Livingston.

The bhoys have played Livi twice this season under Ange and have only one point out of six to show for it.

We can’t find an answer to their defensive setup where it focuses on over populating any are of the Park where the ball is and stopping Celtic from making any real progress.

We had some chances but nothing clear cut from open play. A missed penalty at the death just compounding our frustrations.

One major point we want to pick up on and I believe the manager will have likely come to this conclusion – we’re not a good enough team yet to leave our star striker on the bench.

Kyogo came on in the second half to play around Giakoumakis and it just didn’t work. The understanding between the two wasn’t there and we didn’t carve out many chances with both of them on the field.

If Kyogo is fit, the Japanese striker should start.

  1. One thing, never taken for granted, is a referee giving Celtic anything in or near the penalty box (Madden and his today’s cohorts would be sacked for not giving a stonewall penalty)

As much as I am in dismay about Celtics players falling at most tackles near the penalty box, they weren’t even waved away. So why go down.
Madden made sure that even the smallest infringement by Celtic, was given to Livie at either end of the park.
In order to win a game stacked against you whether right or wrong, you have so score first and defend that win by defending.
Not endless battering up against teams that sit in at Paradise and at home.

    Celtic missed Tom Rogic today.
And anyone can miss from the spot, when under duress.
